DRIVER/SUPERVISOR

We are looking for a reliable, versatile and hardworking Driver/ Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate must be comfortable performing both driving and supervisory responsibilities and be willing to assist wherever required.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is responsible, hands-on and able to work well with people while ensuring that daily operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly as required.
Transport staff, equipment, cleaning materials and other items to and from various sites.
Conduct vehicle checks and ensure company vehicles are kept clean and well maintained.
Supervise and coordinate staff at assigned sites.
Ensure staff are performing their duties correctly and maintaining company standards.
Assist with staff scheduling, attendance and daily operational requirements.
Conduct site inspections and report any issues to management.
Ensure cleaning and service standards are consistently maintained.
Assist with the training and guidance of staff where required.
Handle client and site-related queries professionally.
Assist with operational tasks and general duties when required.
Be willing to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when necessary.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with management.

Requirements:

Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
Previous driving experience is essential.
Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is advantageous.
Cleaning experience will be an advantage but is not essential.
Matric / Grade 12 preferred.
Must be reliable, punctual and well presented.
Must be honest, trustworthy and have sober habits.
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Must be flexible and willing to perform both driving and supervisory duties.
Must have a professional attitude when dealing with clients and staff.
No criminal record.
Traceable references required.
