Description

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Floor Manager to join our supermarket team in Isipingo.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Floor Manager / Supervisor in a supermarket
or retail environment

• Strong knowledge of supermarket operations

• Previous experience managing and supervising staff

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organisational and leadership skills

• Experience with stock control and merchandising will be an advantage

• Must be reliable, responsible and hands-on

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily shop-floor operations

• Supervise and manage staff

• Ensure shelves are properly stocked and merchandised

• Monitor customer service and assist with customer queries

• Assist with stock control and minimise stock losses

• Ensure cleanliness, safety and store standards are maintained

• Allocate duties and monitor staff performance

• Assist the Store Manager with the smooth running of the supermarket
