Description

Bolton Technical is looking for a reliable and hands-on Installer Assistant to join our team in Cape Town. This role is focused on assisting with on-site installations, including cable pulling, antenna mounting support, basic routing of cables, and general installation work.

This is a practical, physically active role for someone who enjoys working with their hands, following instructions, and being part of an installation team. The successful candidate must already be based in Cape Town and available to travel to sites when needed.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with on-site installation of cellular signal equipment

Pull and route cables neatly and safely

Assist with antenna and equipment mounting

Help with drilling, fastening, cable management, and general site preparation

Load, carry, and organise tools and materials on site

Keep work areas clean and tidy during and after installations

Follow instructions from the team leader and support the installation process

Travel to installation sites in and around Cape Town when required

Minimum Requirements

Must already reside in Cape Town

Valid driver’s licence

Practical hands-on experience with installation work, cabling, or general site work

Comfortable using basic hand and power tools

Physically fit and able to carry out manual work

Comfortable working at heights when required

Able to work outdoors and on different site types

Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
