About the Company
A well-established logistics and warehousing company based in Germiston is seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Warehouse Supervisor to join its operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the daily warehouse operations and assist with planning workflow.
Coordinate the receiving, storage and dispatch of stock.
Oversee the loading and offloading of trucks.
Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management.
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock counts.
Complete warehouse documentation accurately and timeously.
Allocate daily tasks and monitor staff productivity.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organisation.
Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damages and operational issues.
Liaise with customers, transport providers and management regarding warehouse activities.
Assist in improving warehouse processes and operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric).
Minimum 2–5 years' experience in a warehousing environment.
Previous experience in bulk warehousing is essential.
Previous supervisory experience will be advantageous.
Computer literate with the ability to work confidently on a laptop.
Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
Forklift licence will be advantageous.
Must reside in or near Germiston or surrounding areas.

Preparing spreadsheets and reports
Experience working on a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system will be advantageous.
