Description

The Faculty of Economics and Finance, Ga-Rankuwa Campus, requires the services of 1 x part- time lecturer for teaching in the fields of Auditing and Internal Auditing on their Ga-Rankuwa Campus for a 6-month contract from 1 June 2025. This position will be teaching 19 hours during the week.
Preference will be given to qualifying South Africans, including persons with disability and women.
Please note that this part-time appointment will be for 19-hours per week for lecturing during the week from 1
June, 2025.
INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants are required to submit, together with the CVs, the standard application form available
from the university intranet as well as recently certified copies of qualifications and Identity Document. Further note
that candidates may be expected to make a presentation on the topic that will be provided to shortlisted candidates.
Existing part-time staff that already has a 19-hour part-time appointment in the university can not be considered for the
position.
Critical Performance Areas
• Lecturing Auditing, Internal Auditing and Work Integrated Learning to diploma and advanced diploma students
• Develop learning material and integrate appropriate technology in teaching and learning.
• Assess learning outcomes using appropriate assessment methods in line with the TUT Policy on Assessment.
• Capture assessment marks on ITS, track and monitor at-risk students.
• Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Minimum qualifications:
1. Academic Qualifications:
• A relevant honours degree with a CA(SA) or CIA designation.
• A relevant master degree will be a strong recommendation

2. Experience:
• One year teaching or tutoring experience at a university.
• At least 2-years practical or teaching experience in Auditing/Internal Auditing
