Description
A manufacturing company in Stikland, Bellville, seeks an experienced
Powder Coating Operator to join our team to operate painting and drying
units for metal products. Key responsibilities include maintaining paint
quality, performing preventative maintenance, and operating parameters for cure
ovens.

Candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
and be able to work efficiently under pressure. This role includes compliance
with safety regulations and assisting in training others.

Depending on experience and ability, the position may also include supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

Proven powder coating experience.
Good understanding of pretreatment and curing processes.
Ability to follow established methods and procedures.
Strong attention to quality and detail.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Supervisory experience will be advantageous.
Work under time pressure and rapidly for extended periods.
Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Powder coating operations, including pretreatment, coating application, quality
control, and oven operation.
Set up and operate painting and drying units.
Perform preventative maintenance of paint booths.
Operate and maintain set parameters for cure oven.
Maintain cleanliness of work area.
Assist in reworking of parts.
Perform duties safely in compliance with safety rules.
