Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Junior to Mid-Level Printer Field Technician to join our
growing technical support team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining,
and repairing a variety of office printers, copiers, and multifunction devices at client sites. The
ideal candidate will have a basic to moderate level of technical experience, a strong customer
service orientation, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and test printers, copiers, and multifunction devices at client
locations

• Deliveries

• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues related to printers
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing on devices

• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner

• Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts usage, and client
interactions

• Provide technical support and training to end users when necessary

• Ensure all work complies with company standards and client expectations

• Assist senior technicians as needed for complex repairs or installations

• Stay up to date with new products, models, and industry best practices

Requirements:

• Own Vehicle

• Grade 12 or equivalent (technical certification is a plus)

• 1–5 years of experience in a technical support or field technician role
(experience with printers is preferred)

• Basic understanding of printer hardware and troubleshooting methods

• Familiarity with networking and connectivity of devices

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Physically able to lift, carry, and install office equipment
Preferred Skills (Not Required but Beneficial):

• Experience with brands such as HP, Canon, Konica Minolta, Sharp, or Lexmark

• Exposure to remote management tools or fleet management software

• Basic understanding of Windows or Mac OS for print driver installations
