King Brands is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Production Manager to join our Lanseria-based team & oversee daily factory activities. With a deep understanding of metal manufacturing & fabrication, you will lead our workforce while maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. From staff management to project execution, you will be the leader responsible for driving operational excellence & high-quality results

Requirements

•Bachelor's/diploma in engineering/ operations, or equivalent
•10+ years of management in a manufacturing environment
•South African citizen (mandatory)
•Valid driver's license
•Proven ability to manage teams (30+) & coordinate across departments (sales, manufacturing, installation)
•Pc literate, excellent communication & organisational skills in English (preferred)
•Proactive independent problem-solver & able to work under tight deadlines

Responsibilities

•Reporting directly to the directors
•Production & operations planning: job cards, scheduling, lean workflows & maintenance (machine & fleet)
•Technical expertise: fabrication, roll forming, cleaning & powder coating, assembly, logistics & reading of technical drawings
•People management: time & attendance, onsite & off-site teams & HR
•Quality & safety: quality assurance, HSE compliance, security & daily opening & closing
•Inventory: stock allocation, detect shrinkage, procurement, receiving & dispatching
