Description

A destination restaurant in Groot Brakriver is seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced à la carte environment and is passionate about hospitality.

You’ll coordinate both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience.

Proven experience in restaurant management is essential, especially in à la carte dining (not hotel or lodge-based).

You should be proficient in POS systems, scheduling tools, and inventory software, with a solid understanding of budgeting and cost control.

Strong leadership, excellent communication, and top-tier customer service skills are key.

You’ll manage staff schedules, monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues diplomatically, and collaborate with the kitchen team to align service with expectations.

Compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards is a must, along with managing cash handling and daily financial reporting.

Working hours: 7:30 am to close, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
