Security Supervisor – Durban (Pinetown Area)

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team in the Pinetown area, Durban. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a solid background in the security industry.

Minimum Requirements:

Must reside in or near Pinetown
Valid South African driver’s licence (confident and responsible driver)
Must have own reliable transport
Valid PSIRA Grade B Certificate
Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
No criminal record or pending cases
Clear disciplinary and employment history
Good communication and leadership skills
Previous supervisory experience in the security industry is advantageous

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage security officers on site
Ensure strict adherence to company policies and security procedures
Conduct routine patrols and site inspections
Handle incidents, emergencies, and disciplinary matters professionally
Complete occurrence books, incident reports, and shift reports accurately
Ensure all guards are present, properly uniformed, and performing duties correctly
Liaise with clients and management on all security-related matters
Monitor access control and enforce safety procedures
Investigate and report suspicious activities or breaches
Assist with staff scheduling and shift planning
Ensure proper use and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment
