Description

Our client requires a Senior Merchandiser in the Clothing Manufacturing Industry,
preferably male, for the Durban South area. Please read the requirements and

The Senior Merchandiser is responsible for developing products that meet buyer requirements and satisfaction.

Key Performance Areas

Drive sales and marketing initiatives to support business growth

Source fabrics and products aligned with buyer requirements

Conduct costing for fabrics and finished products

Load and manage orders on Sync

Oversee execution of order requirements from initiation to completion

Conduct product research, store visits, and perform competitive and comparative costing

Qualifications and Experience

Matric (a tertiary clothing diploma is advantageous)

Strong knowledge of the clothing and textile industry

In-depth knowledge of fabrics

Proficiency in Sync system

Minimum of 5 years’ merchandising experience within the industry

Valid Driver's License compulsory

Vehicle preferable but not compulsory

Salary: Market Related
