Role Description The Service Foreman position
is a full-time, on-site role based in Honeydew, City of Johannesburg.

This role oversees day-to-day service operations, including planning, coordinating, and supervising refrigeration service teams on maintenance, repairs, and emergency breakdowns.

The Service Foreman monitors work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications and timelines, ensuring that all tasks meet
company and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include leading and supervising
the service team, providing technical support to technicians, ensuring high-quality service and maintenance, diagnosing and resolving complex refrigeration faults, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Daily responsibilities include assigning tasks,
inspecting completed work, liaising with clients, documenting service activities, and providing technical guidance on complex faults and compile site
reports for service teams to action.

The role also involves collaborating with
management on resource planning, maintaining tools and materials, and supporting continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Qualified Refrigeration Technician (trade qualification essential).

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the refrigeration industry.

Proven CO2 refrigeration field experience is essential.
Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.

Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Effective communication skills for coordinating with service teams, management, and clients.

Experience in maintenance activities, including preventative, corrective, and emergency repairs.

Previous experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration service and fieldwork is highly advantageous.

Knowledge of relevant safety standards, regulations, and best practices within the refrigeration or mechanical services industry.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to client sites as needed - Company Vehicle provided.
PC Literacy essential.
