The client, a boutique construction company based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town is looking of a Site
Agent to join their Team.
Responsibilities include amongst other:
Co-ordinate and control the activities of site staff and agreed quality standards set out in the contract
Liaise with clients, site staff and manage agreed quantities programmes
Submit monthly revenue certificates and cost estimates
Set and maintain work sequences and construction programmes
Control costs and cash flow management
Set and maintain production targets and operational efficiencies
Drive projects to completion
Effective problem solving
Sub-Contractor management
Requirements
Construction Management or Quantity Surveying Degree or higher (NQF level 7 or higher)
Minimum 5years experience in a similar position in the Construction Industry (preferably Public sector)
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Must have own reliable transport
Must be able to do programmes on MS Projects
Salary: Negotiable
Contract Duration: 1 year (with the possibility of renewal)
