Street Cred Media is a social media marketing and events agency based in the Rosebank Hub in Johannesburg.

We specialize in exclusive Penthouse venue events, nano-influencer marketing, organic and paid social media campaigns, viral content creation, music production and podcast production.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a driven, self-starting Sponsorship Consultant to secure brand partnerships and sponsorship revenue for our events, influencer campaigns, content activations and podcast productions for in-house & client brands.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Identify and research potential sponsors across all industries (FMCG, beverage, fashion, tech, automotive, entertainment, finance, retail)
- Create compelling sponsorship proposals tailored to each brand's objectives
- Pitch Street Cred Media's sponsorship packages to decision-makers
- Build and maintain relationships with brand managers, marketing directors, and sponsorship agencies
- Negotiate sponsorship terms and pricing
- Secure signed contracts and payment
- Track deals in our CRM system
- Report weekly on pipeline progress and closed deals

REQUIREMENTS

1. 2-3 years in sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, or business development -Existing relationships with brands in FMCG, beverage, fashion, tech, or automotive
2. Proven track record of closing deals Experience selling event sponsorship packages
3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Understanding of influencer marketing
4. Self-motivated and able to work independently - Connections in music, entertainment, or lifestyle
5. Tech-savvy (CRM tools, Google Workspace) - Experience with contract negotiation

7. Reliable internet connection
8. South African citizen (all provinces)
