A position has become available for a committed individual to join Life Bedford Gardens Hospital as a Switchboard Operator, reporting to the Admissions Supervisor. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the switchboard and ensuring that it runs smoothly.

Critical Outputs
Telephone answering duties according to Life Healthcare policies.
Assist reception staff when required.
Assist internal and external customers with enquiries.
Assist with ad hoc operational duties when r
Deliver excellent service to callers.
Ensure that all calls are answered within three rings.
Determine the nature of the call and transfer the call to the required department.
Take messages and ensure that they are delivered to the correct recipient.
Maintain hospital intercom.

Requirements

Matric
Candidate must be hard-working, energetic and well spoken.
Eager to learn.

Computer literacy.
