Our client, an established and reputable Tour Operator, is actively recruiting for a detail-oriented Tour Plan Specialist/Coordinator to join their team in Cape Town. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate, up-to-date product, supplier, contract, and rate information in Tour Plan.

Key Performance Areas & Criteria

Costing experience is essential.

Product & Rate Loading:

Accurately create and update supplier records, accommodation, transfers, activities, and tours in Tour Plan. Capture contracted net/selling rates, validity periods, single/peak supplements, child policies, and VAT treatments on time.

Contract Administration:

Review incoming supplier contracts for clarity, file signed documentation securely on OneDrive according to naming conventions and follow up with Product Managers on missing information.

Quality Control & Testing: Conduct thorough quality checks on loaded data, running sample costings and test quotations in Tour Plan to verify taxes, mark-ups, and currencies match signed contracts.

System & File Support: Assist consultants with product, rate, and costing queries, helping investigate cost discrepancies and ensuring data standards are strictly maintained.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Relevant qualification in Tourism, Travel, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong, hands-on experience using Tour Plan (Essential).

Proven background in rate loading, product capturing, travel costings, or
supplier contract administration within a DMC or Tour Operator environment.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.

Exceptional numerical accuracy, analytical skills, and acute attention to detail.

Ability to interpret complex supplier rate sheets and prioritize high-volume deadlines.

Requirements: Candidates must currently reside in or near the Cape Town / Green Point / Sea Point area. Please note: Relocation from out of town would be at your own cost.
