We are looking for a multi-skilled Workshop Technician to join our team. Our technicians do a bit of everything, so we value people with more than one skill.

Experienced all-rounders and junior technicians who are strong in one or two areas are both welcome to apply. Juniors will be trained in-house in the other areas.

What you will do

- Service and repair trailers and caravans: wheel bearings, brakes, suspension, axles and couplings

- Install and fault-find 12V systems: solar, inverters, lithium batteries, DC-DC chargers, wiring and lighting

- Install and repair plumbing: water tanks, pumps, geysers and taps

- Fit canopies, drawer systems and 4x4 accessories (Alu-Cab, Front Runner, Ironman 4x4)

- Repair and build cabinetry and interiors in campers and caravans

- Keep accurate job cards, test all work before handover, and keep the workshop clean and safe

Senior applicants

- Hands-on experience across most of the areas above (caravan, trailer, auto electrical, 4x4 fitment, carpentry)

- Able to diagnose faults and work unsupervised

- Willing to train and guide junior technicians

- Trade test / Red Seal an advantage

Junior applicants

- Solid hands-on skills in at least one or two of the areas above

- Keen to learn the rest – we train you in-house

- Reliable, hard-working and proud of neat work

- N2/N3, NCV or trade training an advantage

Requirements for everyone

- Safety-minded, neat and good with customers

- Within reasonable travelling distance of Bellville

- Own hand tools and a caravan or 4x4 background are a plus
