Repair of Electronic Printed Circuit Boards
Reading schematics and machine drawings
Sourcing parts and components
Soldering and De-soldering
Basic circuit knowledge, fault finding
Through hole devices and surface mount
Description: Field Technician
Experience on PLC's
Experience on VSD's , Servo Drives
Experience on Motors and motor control
Experience on Sensors and instruments
Experience on Pneumatics
Experience on Industrial Machinery
Experience on 3 phase and fault finding.
Experience reading machine drawings.
Required Skills
Printed Circuit Board Repair (Bench Tech): 2 to 3 years
Industry Experience (Field): 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Requirements: Field & Bench
Electronic Components.
Power Supplies.
Electronic Repair equipment (Soldering, de-soldering, SMD).
Electronic Test Equipment (Multi meter, Oscilloscope).
PC Literate in Visio, Word, Outlook, Chrome, Excel, Windows.
Able to work efficiently, neatly and handle a high stress enviroment.
Work un-supervised on an efficiency basis.
All candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered.
In posession of a valid South African drivers licence (Field)
Own reliable vehicle (Field)
South African citizen
Reside in the greater Durban area
Medically fit
N6 or S2 or relevent electronic experience as a minimum requirment
Able to work overtime when needed
