A5 Group Holdings is looking for a committed, suitably qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of an E-Commerce Manager in the Online Department based in our Head office in Mobeni Jacobs.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining a strong brand and image that appeals and satisfies customers, ultimately driving sales through online channels.
Responsible for overseeing online sales and presence of retail brands and products within the group.
Develop, monitor, report and implement on the Online Go-to-Market strategy consistent with the Companies goals and objectives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Digital Marketing, Brand, Creative Services, user experience and Planning to create a respected and trusted consumer digital shopping experience.
Define the value proposition and ensure a seamless experience from brand/product advertising through the entire site journey.
Manage a seasonal, monthly, and weekly site content calendar
Optimize on-site search and cross-sales to drive conversion rates.
Lead in actively optimizing product selection and placement and propose new merchandise products and strategies to engage consumers and drive profitable sales.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, team members across departments and manage product inventory, pricing updates, and general static content changes.
Oversee in-site marketing elements update, manage error pages, and unpublish strategy.
Collaborate with other departments and the design team for adverts and banners.
Set up and distribute e-newsletters, adverts and other related media and handle technical queries related to the website.
Generate daily and monthly sales reports, analyse online sales data, and stay updated on software or data trends.
Update and recommend new updates for the website or mobile systems or payment systems.
Proven experience in generating online sales and understanding web design software.
Requirements:
Relevant degree, diploma or recognised certification in e-commerce, marketing, business or digital commerce
3 to 5 years hands-on e-commerce experience, within FMCG, retail or an omnichannel environment.
Demonstrable record of growing online customers, brands and revenue, conversion and profitability.
Experience managing an active e-commerce platform such as Shopify.
Working knowledge of GA4, Search Console, Merchant Centre, SEO, email/CRM systems and other applicable digital/online advertising and sales programs.
Understanding of inventory, ERP/POS, payment-gateway and delivery integrations.
Strong commercial, analytical and advanced Excel/reporting capability.
Experience managing employees, agencies, developers and/or other service providers.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge would be advantageous.
Adobe Creative Suite or Canva experience
