A manufacturing company based in Hammarsdale has a position for a Finance Assistant. We are seeking an individual
that must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance environment with
an ability to work in a fast pace environment with a skill set and experience in
an accounting package, debtors, HR with good communication and writing skills. must
be able to work on Excel and Word and send out professional emails. We have 14 branches that need assistance in Debtors
and staff matters on a daily basis and must be able to provide support to the
Director and Financial Manager.

Minimum requirements.

A) Debtors

Must be able to manage and match and allocate receipts to invoices and request remittance advices where necessary.

Email monthly statements to Customers or when requested.

Maintain customer information and update the accounting records accordingly.

Communicate with customers regarding outstanding overdue payments.

Create a professional relationship and maintain good relations with the customers and the company.

Be able to authorize and override customer accounts to allow for invoice processing’s on approval from the Director.

Manage credit applications for approval for credit.

Manage all aspects relating to Debtors and customer queries.

Work closely with all branch managers on cash accounts and customer queries.

Insurance – have knowledge of insurance matters, the company has a fleet of vehicles, laptops, computers and cell phone and other
assets that need to be monitored and process claims where necessary. Update branch Assets.

HR – must be able to issue warning letters to deflating staff. prepare hearing notices and at times handle a hearing. Manage and control staff attendance registers
and leave applications. Have an understanding of Payroll and remuneration packages.

General finance assistance in creditors, stock and orders
