Emerald Life Proprietary Limited is a licensed micro-insurer specialising in funeral insurance and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Clientèle Limited. We are seeking an energetic, positive & self-motivated individual to join our Human Resources Department as an HR Administrator – Employee Relations.
The successful candidate will be based at our Head Office in Bellville and will work Mon to Fri from 08h00 to 16h30.

Key duties & responsibilities:

Drafting & filing of misconduct letters of concern & warnings.

Drafting & filing of letters of concern & warnings related to traffic department fines.

Ensure that evidence bundles are correctly compiled for disciplinary hearings & Enquiries.

Case preparation for disciplinary hearings & CCMA cases.

Ensure that the grievance procedure is executed.

Ensure that the incapacity ill Health process is executed.

Conducting investigation into alleged misconduct matters.

Maintaining accurate records of disciplinary processes on Sage 300 people.

Ensure that minutes of meetings or recordings are typed accurately.

Translating of meetings or recordings.

Ensure that completed typed documents are revised for spelling or grammar errors.

Qualifications & experience

Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification is essential.

Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English is
required.

Additional languages will be advantageous.

Knowledge of relevant legislation, i.e., BCEA, LRA & EE.

3-year Human Resources qualification

A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources department.

Excellent typing accuracy (will be tested)

Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word & Outlook, is required.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a six-month probation period.
