Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Officer to support and manage the hotel’s human resources functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and
onboarding
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Handle employee relations matters and provide support to staff
Coordinate staff training and development programs
Monitor attendance, leave, and payroll inputs
Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
Support performance management processes
Promote a positive workplace culture
Requirements:
Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar HR role
Knowledge of HR practices and labour legislation
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
Grade 12/ Matric (required)
Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field (advantageous)
