WAI Construction is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated Junior Construction All-Rounder to join our team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on position suited to someone with solid foundational knowledge in construction and the ability to assist across various trades. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople on residential and/or commercial projects, contributing to high-quality workmanship and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with general carpentry tasks

Install and repair ceilings

Measure, cut, and install drywall/plasterboard

Support site setup and pack-down

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Follow project plans and supervisor instructions

Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards

Skills & Experience Required

Working knowledge of carpentry, ceilings, and drywall installation

Solid understanding of general construction processes

Ability to read and interpret basic plans and measurements

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Good communication and teamwork skills

White Card (or relevant construction safety certification)

Driver’s licence preferred
