The Department of Information Technology in the Faculty of ICT Invites
applications for a Part–Time Lecturers Position at the Soshanguve South Campus
to teach the following Postgraduate Diploma subject on Saturdays.

INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants are required to submit, together with the CVs, a fully
completed standardized application form available from the university intranet as
well as recently certified copies of qualifications and Identity Document. Failure to
comply with this instruction will disqualify the candidate. Candidates may be
subjected to appropriate psychometric testing and other selection instruments.
Key performance areas/Core functions:
• Preparing all lecture materials, assessments, and related documents
• Presenting lectures and assessing students in the department
• Performing administration of marks and other related administrative duties under the
subject head, sectional head, and HOD supervision.
Conditions of employment
• The appointments are for TUT contact periods for the 2nd semester of 2026.
• Successful applicants only receive a part-time salary according to TUT policy.
• No additional remuneration for travel, relocation, etc.
Minimum requirements:
Academic qualifications:
• Masters degree in IT (Support Services / Networking and Security)
• Doctoral degree in IT will be an added advantage.

Experience:
• Three years of teaching and/or research and/or Industrial experience in
Information Technology (Support Services / Communication Networks and
Security).
