Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Line Supervisor to oversee daily production
operations, manage staff, and ensure production targets and quality standards
are consistently met. This role requires strong leadership, attention to
detail, and the ability to enforce processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage production line operations to meet daily and hourly targets and productivity standards
Allocate staff to appropriate workstations and ensure optimal line balancing
Conduct daily team briefings and monitor employee performance against a time-based performance computer system (Per4ma)
Ensure Bill of Materials (B.O.M) and manufacturing components are prepared and available in advance
Monitor and enforce production processes and
Maintain high-quality standards and minimize production errors
Manage your workforce’s attendance, discipline, and enforce company policies
Report material shortages, production issues, and inefficiencies
Ensure good housekeeping standards and workplace organization

Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and people management skills
Knowledge of production line manufacturing
Understanding of line balancing and bottle neck identification
Ability to work under pressure
Good organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong mathematical literacy with a good understanding of percentages
Matric / Grade 12
Proficiency in Excel
