Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Experience:

Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent. Recognition of prior learning (experience) will also be considered.

Previous experience regarding aluminium extrusion process and

Die correcting will be an advantage.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations management

and process control. Computer literate & Code 8 Drivers licence.

Main purpose of the job:

Assume full operational responsibility for the management of the Die shop Operations in Alrode

Primary Duties:

Maintaining an accurate die performance database.

Providing regular reports on die performance trends.

Liaising with production teams, drawing office and Die manufacturing, related to improving die performance.

Take full responsibility regarding die performance and die availability.

Must have good knowledge and understanding of the Syspro and curoquip systems.

Maintain nitriding equipment and unsure adherence to the nitriding process.

Daily follow up with planning and production regarding planning and scheduling to maximize customer service.

Management, control, support and motivation of the workforce.

Continuous training, developing the skills of the workers.

Continuous improvement of infrastructure and processes.

Control of expenditure relating to operations and equipment.

Ensuring compliance to the company’s quality standards by investigating, implementing preventative action regarding customer complaints and returns.

Ensuring good housekeeping and safety regulations, company policies are adhered to.

Enforcing the Wispeco management culture and continuous improvement attitude

Actively support the improvement program (20 Keys) and initiate improvements to improve team performance and moral.

Carry out all other duties which you are instructed to do from time to time by your superior.
