Our client, a well-established renewable energy company based in Mossel Bay, is seeking an experienced Solar Installer / PV Installer to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for a hands-on, technically minded individual with practical experience in solar installations who is physically fit and comfortable working on-site and at heights.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation of solar PV systems (grid-tied, hybrid, and off-grid)

Mounting of panels and inverter installations

Cable routing and electrical connections

Assisting with system commissioning and testing

Working on residential, commercial, and agricultural sites

Travelling to various installation sites when required

Ensuring all installations comply with safety standards

Minimum Requirements:

2+ years’ experience in solar / PV installations

Industry experience essential (formal qualification advantageous but not required)

Valid driver’s license and own transport

Willingness to travel for installations

Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting

Comfortable working at heights

Strong work ethic and reliability

Advantageous:

Code 10 driver’s license

Electrical qualification (N2 / N3 or equivalent)

Wireman’s license

Working at heights certification

Forklift license
