Mumbo Repairs and Castrol Auto Service Randburg are looking for a talented and passionate Videographer & Content Creator to join our rapidly growing media department.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of South Africa’s most recognised automotive content brands, producing content viewed by hundreds of thousands of people across YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and Instagram.

Minimum Requirements:

Relevant qualification in Videography, Film Production, Media Studies, Digital Content Creation or a related field

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut and Corel VideoStudio

Experience operating professional cameras, audio equipment and lighting systems

Strong understanding of cinematography, composition and storytelling

Excellent script writing and content planning abilities

Portfolio of previous work required

Traceable references required

Valid driver’s licence

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Film and edit high-quality short-form content for TikTok, Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts

• Produce engaging long-form YouTube content ranging from 15 minutes to over an hour in duration

• Assist with content planning, scripting and storyboarding

• Capture workshop activities, vehicle builds, customer stories and behind-the-scenes content

• Operate cameras, audio equipment, lighting and supporting production gear

• Edit content to a professional standard while maintaining brand consistency

• Create engaging thumbnails and assist with content packaging where required

• Work closely with management and the marketing team to develop new content ideas

• Stay up to date with social media trends and identify opportunities for viral content

• Manage and organise video footage, project files and media assets

• Ensure all content is delivered on time and meets company quality standards

This position is ideal for a creative individual who understands both storytelling and social media, and who is capable of producing content that entertains, educates and reaches millions of viewers.

Salary: R192 000 - R313 000 PA
