This group operates throughout South Africa with more than 60 pieces of yellow plant and trucks.

Trusted brands such as Komatsu. Doosan, Summitommo CASE and CAT
equipment, TATA and Powerstar trucks are maintained to the highest standards,
ensuring optimal plant availability.

Qualification BSc/BTech/ND Mechanical
Engineering or Trade Tested Millwright/Diesel Mechanic

Experience Min 15 years on Heavy Earthmoving Equipment (Yellow Plant).

Min 5 years supervisory experience.

Staff reporting to you:

Plant Managers, Mechanics & Mechanics assistants, Admin staff

Responsibilities

- Manage all preventative and corrective maintenance of the fleet

- Manage all legal requirements such as licensing

- Repairs & Maintenance on Heavy duty Earthmoving
plant including engines, brakes, clutch, suspension, limited electrics/
hydraulics

- Monitoring of Costs

- Stock control (parts)

- Administrative work such as job cards, purchasing, maintenance schedules, maintenance books etc.

- Health and Safety

- Upholding the Company’s policies and procedures

- Able to travel and work away from home (site visits).
